Description
Luxurious smoked salmon blinis topped with whipped cream cheese and caviar, perfect for festive occasions.
Ingredients
- 20 mini blinis (store-bought or homemade)
- 5 oz (140g) smoked salmon, sliced
- 1/2 cup whipped cream cheese
- 1.5 oz (40g) black caviar or lumpfish roe
- Fresh dill, for garnish
Instructions
- If using store-bought blinis, lightly warm them in a skillet or oven for 2–3 minutes until soft and slightly golden.
- Transfer whipped cream cheese into a piping bag and pipe a generous swirl onto each blini.
- Gently roll or fold small pieces of smoked salmon and place them on top of the cream cheese.
- Spoon a small amount of caviar over each salmon piece. A little goes a long way!
- Add a small sprig of dill for a fresh, festive touch.
Notes
Make ahead 1–2 hours in advance. Swap whipped cream cheese with crème fraîche or herbed goat cheese. Lumpfish roe is an affordable alternative to real caviar.
