Description
Delicious Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies with festive sprinkles, perfect for Halloween parties.
Ingredients
- ½ cup butter (slightly softened)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ⅓ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅔ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
- 9 Halloween Oreos (orange creme filling)
- ¼ cup Halloween sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
- In a medium bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Add to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles.
- Scoop cookie dough (about ¼ cup per cookie), flatten it in your hand, place an Oreo in the center, then wrap the dough around to seal.
- Place cookie dough balls on the prepared sheet, spacing them out. Bake for 9–10 minutes until edges are set but centers still look soft.
- Top with extra chocolate chips straight from the oven. Let cool for 5 minutes on the tray, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
Use Halloween Oreos for a festive touch. Don’t overbake for chewy centers. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for 3 months.
