Ingredients
- 1 lb Yukon Gold potatoes, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)
- 2 tbsp garlic herb butter (or homemade garlic butter)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (divided)
- 1 tsp salt (divided)
- 1 tsp black pepper (divided)
Instructions
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp garlic herb butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the potatoes to the skillet, seasoning with ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp salt, and ½ tsp pepper. Cook for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown and fork-tender. Set aside on a plate.
- Season the steak cubes with ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp salt, and ½ tsp black pepper.
- Add the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp garlic herb butter to the skillet, increasing the heat to medium-high.
- Add the seasoned steak cubes and sear for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned to desired doneness.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, add the cooked potatoes back into the skillet, and toss everything together in the garlic butter.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
