Description

These double chocolate Oreo cookies got a spooky Halloween makeover! Soft, fudgy chocolate cookies are topped with gooey marshmallow webs and Oreo cookies decorated for Halloween, perfect for parties or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 810 Halloween-themed Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between cookies. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  4. While cookies are still slightly warm, melt the marshmallows in the microwave for 15–20 seconds. Use a fork or fingers to stretch the melted marshmallows into web-like strands over each cookie.
  5. Press a Halloween Oreo into the center of each cookie for a festive finish. Let cool before serving.

Notes

Use Halloween-themed Oreos (pumpkin or spiderweb designs) for an extra spooky look. For richer cookies, swap semi-sweet chips with dark chocolate chunks. To keep marshmallow webs fresh, add them shortly before serving.
