Description
This Creamy Beef Pasta is the ultimate comfort food for chilly nights, featuring hearty beef, creamy sauce, and rich Italian flavors—all made in just one pot.
Ingredients
- 500g (1 lb) ground beef (lean preferred)
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 400g (14 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 350g (12 oz) short pasta (penne, fusilli, elbow macaroni)
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
- Chopped parsley (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up as it browns. Once browned, drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and tomato paste. Cook for 1 minute to develop the flavors.
- Pour in the crushed tomatoes and chicken broth, and bring to a simmer. Add the pasta and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked al dente and the sauce has thickened.
- Once the pasta is cooked, reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for another minute to thicken and become creamy.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately. Garnish with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Gently reheat in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of broth or cream to loosen the sauce.
