Description

This Creamy Beef Pasta is the ultimate comfort food for chilly nights, featuring hearty beef, creamy sauce, and rich Italian flavors—all made in just one pot.

Ingredients

  • 500g (1 lb) ground beef (lean preferred)
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 400g (14 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 350g (12 oz) short pasta (penne, fusilli, elbow macaroni)
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
  • Chopped parsley (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up as it browns. Once browned, drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and tomato paste. Cook for 1 minute to develop the flavors.
  3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and chicken broth, and bring to a simmer. Add the pasta and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked al dente and the sauce has thickened.
  4. Once the pasta is cooked, reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for another minute to thicken and become creamy.
  5. Remove from heat and serve immediately. Garnish with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Gently reheat in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of broth or cream to loosen the sauce.
