Description
A succulent marinade for shrimp, infused with citrus, garlic, and a hint of spice, perfect for grilling.
Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust more or less for spice levels)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, parsley, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Toss in the shrimp and coat them thoroughly in the marinade.
- Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers.
- Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp turn opaque and are cooked through.
- Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
Notes
Try swapping shrimp for chicken or tofu for a different protein. Don’t skip the marinating step for enhanced flavor.
