Ingredients

4 thinly sliced chicken breasts (approx. 1 lb)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp paprika

1 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

1/4 tsp black pepper

Optional: Fresh lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

Preheat

  • If grilling, preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • If baking, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Chicken

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  • Rub the chicken slices evenly with olive oil, then coat with the spice mixture.

Cook the Chicken

  • Grilling: Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Baking: Arrange chicken slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-18 minutes, flipping halfway, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.

Rest and Serve

  • Remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for 3-5 minutes to retain its juices.
  • Serve warm with your favorite side dishes like roasted vegetables or rice. Garnish with fresh lemon slices, if desired.
