Description

Turn classic chocolate-covered strawberries into spooky White Chocolate Strawberry Ghosts for the perfect Halloween treat. They’re simple, festive, and a fun activity to make with kids before a party or pumpkin carving night.

Ingredients

  • Fresh whole strawberries
  • 1 bag of white chocolate melts
  • 1 cup milk chocolate melts

Instructions

  1. Melt white chocolate melts in a double boiler or microwave according to package directions. Do the same with the milk chocolate in a separate bowl.
  2. Wash and thoroughly dry strawberries. Dip each one in white chocolate and place on parchment paper, leaving a small “tail” of chocolate at the bottom to form the ghost shape.
  3. Let strawberries dry completely.
  4. Transfer melted milk chocolate into a piping bag (or zip-top bag with a tiny corner cut).
  5. Pipe two round eyes and an oval mouth onto each strawberry to create the ghost face.
  6. Let set, then serve as a fun Halloween dessert.

Notes

Make sure strawberries are completely dry before dipping, otherwise the chocolate won’t stick. Create different ghost expressions by varying the size and shape of the eyes and mouth. Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours for best results — chocolate may sweat if left out too long.
