Description

Delicious and tender turkey burgers that are easy to make and perfect for any crowd.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Burger buns
  • Toppings (lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, onion, sauces, etc.)


Instructions

  1. Mix the burger mixture: In a large bowl, add the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix with clean hands or a fork just until combined.
  2. Form the patties: Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape into patties about 3/4-inch thick and press a small indent in the center of each patty.
  3. Preheat your cooking surface: Heat a grill or skillet to medium heat and lightly oil the grates/pan.
  4. Cook until safely done: Cook patties for 5–7 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Rest and assemble: Let the patties rest for 2–3 minutes, then serve on buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For best results, do not overmix the meat and make a center dimple in the patties to prevent bulging during cooking.
