Deliciously sweet and savory salmon recipe inspired by Texas Roadhouse, perfect for cozy dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
- Place the salmon on the baking sheet and brush half of the glaze over the top and sides.
- Bake for 8 minutes. Remove and brush remaining glaze over the salmon.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until the salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Let rest for 2 minutes and sprinkle with parsley before serving.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. Serve over rice or with mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
