Description

Deliciously sweet and savory salmon recipe inspired by Texas Roadhouse, perfect for cozy dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  4. Place the salmon on the baking sheet and brush half of the glaze over the top and sides.
  5. Bake for 8 minutes. Remove and brush remaining glaze over the salmon.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until the salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Let rest for 2 minutes and sprinkle with parsley before serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use coconut aminos instead of soy sauce. Serve over rice or with mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
