Description

These Taco Tortilla Roll Ups are colorful, flavorful bites perfect for gatherings or quick family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream cheese (softened)
  • 4 oz Sour cream
  • 2 tbsp Taco seasoning
  • 1/3 cup Salsa (taco or picante sauce)
  • 1-2 Jalapenos (seeded and diced finely, adjust to taste)
  • 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1 1/2 cups Chicken (cooked and shredded)
  • 1/3 cup Cilantro (finely chopped)
  • 6 (8 inch) flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, salsa, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, shredded chicken, and cilantro until fully combined.
  2. Lay a tortilla flat on a plate. Spread about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the mixture all the way to the edges of the tortilla.
  3. Roll the tortilla tightly, ensuring the filling is secure, and place it seam-side down on a plate. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
  4. Cover the rolled tortillas and chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes for the best flavor and texture.
  5. Slice the chilled roll-ups into bite-sized pieces. Garnish with extra cilantro before serving.

Notes

Allow your tortillas to reach room temperature before rolling to ensure they remain flexible.
