These Taco Tortilla Roll Ups are colorful, flavorful bites perfect for gatherings or quick family dinners.
Ingredients
- 8 oz Cream cheese (softened)
- 4 oz Sour cream
- 2 tbsp Taco seasoning
- 1/3 cup Salsa (taco or picante sauce)
- 1-2 Jalapenos (seeded and diced finely, adjust to taste)
- 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1 1/2 cups Chicken (cooked and shredded)
- 1/3 cup Cilantro (finely chopped)
- 6 (8 inch) flour tortillas
Instructions
- Mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, salsa, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, shredded chicken, and cilantro until fully combined.
- Lay a tortilla flat on a plate. Spread about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the mixture all the way to the edges of the tortilla.
- Roll the tortilla tightly, ensuring the filling is secure, and place it seam-side down on a plate. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
- Cover the rolled tortillas and chill in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes for the best flavor and texture.
- Slice the chilled roll-ups into bite-sized pieces. Garnish with extra cilantro before serving.
Notes
Allow your tortillas to reach room temperature before rolling to ensure they remain flexible.
