  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup corn, canned or frozen
  • 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • Sour cream (for topping)
  • Salsa (for topping)
  • Crispy tortilla salad shells (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) if you are making crispy tortilla bowls.
  2. Cook the meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add seasoning: Incorporate taco seasoning and water as outlined on the package. Let it simmer for a few minutes to bring out the flavors.
