Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, making sure they’re evenly distributed.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
