Description

A delightful chocolate chip cookie recipe combining chewy and crisp textures with a burst of chocolate in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips, making sure they’re evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes
