Description

A quick and vibrant pasta dish that captures the essence of summer with fresh ingredients and delightful flavors.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz bow-tie pasta
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the bow-tie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Squeeze in the lemon juice and add lemon zest, stirring well.
  5. Toss in the cooked pasta, then fold in fresh basil and pine nuts.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve generously topped with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze in portions for up to a month.
