Delicious stuffed mushrooms filled with a creamy, cheesy stuffing that makes for a perfect appetizer.
Ingredients
- 16 large mushrooms
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems.
- In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, green onions, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Carefully spoon the stuffing mixture into each mushroom cap.
- Arrange the filled mushrooms on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
- Serve them warm and watch them disappear!
Notes
Consider adding red pepper flakes for a bit of heat. These mushrooms can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
