Description

Delicious stuffed mushrooms filled with a creamy, cheesy stuffing that makes for a perfect appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 16 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for drizzling


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems.
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, green onions, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Carefully spoon the stuffing mixture into each mushroom cap.
  5. Arrange the filled mushrooms on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.
  7. Serve them warm and watch them disappear!

Notes

Consider adding red pepper flakes for a bit of heat. These mushrooms can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
