Description

A delightful twist on a classic dessert, these parfaits combine a crunchy pretzel crust with a creamy filling and juicy strawberries.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jello
  • 1 cup boiling water


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar until combined.
  3. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pan and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  4. Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined, creating a creamy layer.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
  7. Dissolve the strawberry jello in boiling water, then stir in the sliced strawberries. Allow it to cool slightly.
  8. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Refrigerate until completely set, then layer into glasses for serving.
