Description

A warm, delightful strawberry crumble pie that combines sweet and tart strawberries with a crispy crumble topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice in a large bowl until well combined. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  3. Prepare the crumble by mixing rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Top the strawberries with the crumble mixture.
  5. Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, until the crumble is golden brown and strawberries are bubbling.
  6. Cool slightly before serving.
