A warm, delightful strawberry crumble pie that combines sweet and tart strawberries with a crispy crumble topping.
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice in a large bowl until well combined. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- Prepare the crumble by mixing rolled oats, all-purpose flour, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt in another bowl until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Top the strawberries with the crumble mixture.
- Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes, until the crumble is golden brown and strawberries are bubbling.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
