Description

A delightful no-bake dessert combining sweet strawberries, tangy cream cheese, and a salty pretzel crunch, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 4 cups sliced strawberries
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 16 oz Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together crushed pretzels, chopped pecans, and brown sugar in a medium bowl.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Spread the pretzel mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes or until bubbling. Allow it to cool completely before breaking it into small pieces.
  5. Beat together softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth in a large bowl.
  6. Fold in the Cool Whip gently until combined. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  7. Before serving, fold in sliced strawberries and half of the pretzel crunch. Top with the remaining pretzel crunch and serve immediately.

Notes

For a nut-free version, substitute pecans with walnuts or omit them altogether. Feel free to enhance the flavor with lemon zest or drizzle chocolate syrup over the top before serving.
