Description

A refreshing and healthy summer treat, these strawberry banana popsicles are easy to make and bursting with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) yogurt (Greek or dairy-free)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk (almond milk works well)
  • 1-2 tablespoons granulated sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup strawberries (about 10 medium), hulled and chopped
  • 1 ripe banana, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the yogurt, milk, and sugar/honey. Blend until well mixed.
  2. Add the chopped strawberries and banana to the blender and process until smooth.
  3. Carefully pour the mixture into popsicle molds.
  4. Snap on the lids and insert popsicle sticks. Place in the freezer for at least 5 hours, or until completely set.
  5. To remove, submerge the molds in warm water for a few seconds, then gently pull out by the handle.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use full-fat yogurt and for additional flavor, experiment with other fruits.
