Description
A refreshing and healthy summer treat, these strawberry banana popsicles are easy to make and bursting with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) yogurt (Greek or dairy-free)
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk (almond milk works well)
- 1-2 tablespoons granulated sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup strawberries (about 10 medium), hulled and chopped
- 1 ripe banana, chopped
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the yogurt, milk, and sugar/honey. Blend until well mixed.
- Add the chopped strawberries and banana to the blender and process until smooth.
- Carefully pour the mixture into popsicle molds.
- Snap on the lids and insert popsicle sticks. Place in the freezer for at least 5 hours, or until completely set.
- To remove, submerge the molds in warm water for a few seconds, then gently pull out by the handle.
Notes
For a creamier texture, use full-fat yogurt and for additional flavor, experiment with other fruits.
