Crispy-edged chicken drumsticks coated in a sweet and savory glaze, perfect for weeknight dinners and meal prep.
Ingredients
- 10 chicken drumsticks (skin-on for browning)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce (low-sodium if preferred)
- 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Whisk together soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, ginger, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
- Coat the drumsticks in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them, turning them to coat well.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
Notes
For a sticky finish, consider broiling for the last 2–3 minutes of cooking.
