Description

Crispy-edged chicken drumsticks coated in a sweet and savory glaze, perfect for weeknight dinners and meal prep.


Ingredients

  • 10 chicken drumsticks (skin-on for browning)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce (low-sodium if preferred)
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, ginger, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Coat the drumsticks in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them, turning them to coat well.
  4. Bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

For a sticky finish, consider broiling for the last 2–3 minutes of cooking.
