Description

An irresistible combination of savory chicken, sweet-and-spicy sauce, and noodles that soak up all the rich flavors.


Ingredients

  • 300 g chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 250 g noodles (egg noodles or ramen)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp chili flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Toss the sliced chicken breast with cornstarch and water.
  2. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain, and toss with sesame oil.
  3. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic in a small bowl.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and cook the chicken for 4–5 minutes.
  5. Add the sauce to the chicken and let it simmer until thickened.
  6. Add the cooked noodles and gently toss everything together.
  7. Stir in spring onions and garnish with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. This dish can be reheated on the stovetop or microwave.
