Ingredients
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups shredded cabbage (green or purple)
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp honey or agave (optional)
- Corn or flour tortillas
- Avocado slices for topping
- Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions
- Marinate the Shrimp: In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add the shrimp, ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Prepare the Slaw: In another bowl, combine shredded cabbage, carrots, green onions, lime juice, and honey (if using). Toss gently and season with salt. Set aside.
- Cook the Shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for about 2–3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.
- Assemble the Tacos: Warm the tortillas in a pan. Place some slaw on each tortilla, add the cooked shrimp, and top with avocado slices and fresh cilantro.
- Serve: Enjoy with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For best results, keep the slaw separate.
