Description

A warm, creamy shrimp dip that combines the flavors of Cajun seasoning and fresh shrimp for a perfect appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Optional: hot sauce, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté the green onions until soft in a skillet over medium heat, about 2-3 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Cook the shrimp in the skillet and season with Cajun seasoning. Sauté until pink and cooked through, roughly 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Combine the shrimp mixture with cream cheese, cheddar, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and hot sauce (if using) in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables. Adjust seasoning for spice preference.
