Description

A flavorful salmon recipe with a sweet and savory glaze made from soy sauce and brown sugar, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine lemon pepper, minced garlic, salt, soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and olive oil in a small bowl. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the fish. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grill grate.
  4. Remove salmon from the marinade (discard marinade) and place fillets on the preheated grill.
  5. Grill salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Notes

Marinate the salmon for up to 8 hours for deeper flavor. Avoid skipping the marinating step for best results.
