Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Instructions
- Combine lemon pepper, minced garlic, salt, soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and olive oil in a small bowl. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Place salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the fish. Seal and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat and lightly oil the grill grate.
- Remove salmon from the marinade (discard marinade) and place fillets on the preheated grill.
- Grill salmon for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
Marinate the salmon for up to 8 hours for deeper flavor. Avoid skipping the marinating step for best results.
