Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Whisk together BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar in a bowl.
  3. Place the seasoned ribs into a crock pot and pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the top.
  4. Set your crock pot to low and cook for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours until tender.
  5. Preheat the oven broiler and transfer ribs to a baking sheet; brush with additional BBQ sauce.
  6. Broil for 3-5 minutes, watching closely to caramelize the sauce.
  7. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

To store leftovers, refrigerate for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage. Reheat in the oven for best results.
