Ingredients
- Plump shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Cabbage, finely shredded
- Avocado, diced
- Cotija cheese, crumbled
- Cilantro, freshly chopped
- Garlic-lime crema sauce (sour cream, lime juice, minced garlic, pinch of salt)
- Tortillas (flour or corn)
- Taco seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Season the shrimp by tossing with taco seasoning.
- Cook the shrimp in a medium pan over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, until pink and opaque.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing sour cream, lime juice, minced garlic, and salt until smooth.
- Toast tortillas on a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until golden.
- Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp on tortillas and layering with cabbage, avocado, cotija cheese, and cilantro.
- Drizzle the garlic-lime crema over the tacos just before serving.
