Description

Delicious shrimp tacos featuring seasoned shrimp topped with fresh ingredients and a creamy garlic-lime sauce.


Ingredients

  • Plump shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • Cabbage, finely shredded
  • Avocado, diced
  • Cotija cheese, crumbled
  • Cilantro, freshly chopped
  • Garlic-lime crema sauce (sour cream, lime juice, minced garlic, pinch of salt)
  • Tortillas (flour or corn)
  • Taco seasoning (optional)


Instructions

  1. Season the shrimp by tossing with taco seasoning.
  2. Cook the shrimp in a medium pan over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes, until pink and opaque.
  3. Prepare the sauce by mixing sour cream, lime juice, minced garlic, and salt until smooth.
  4. Toast tortillas on a skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until golden.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp on tortillas and layering with cabbage, avocado, cotija cheese, and cilantro.
  6. Drizzle the garlic-lime crema over the tacos just before serving.

Notes
