Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish
  • Lime wedges, for serving
  • For the garlic lime crema:
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Toss the shrimp in a bowl with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper until they’re well-coated.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are pink and opaque.
  3. Mix together the sour cream, minced garlic, lime juice, and salt to create your garlic lime crema.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave to make them pliable.
  5. Assemble your tacos by placing cooked shrimp on a tortilla, topping with shredded cabbage and avocado slices, and drizzling with garlic lime crema.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges for an extra burst of flavor.

Notes
