Ingredients
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Marinate the shrimp: In a bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Let sit for about 10 minutes.
- Sauté the shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes or until they are opaque and cooked through. Remove from heat.
- Warm the tortillas: In the same skillet, lightly toast the tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until they are warm and pliable.
- Assemble the tacos: On each tortilla, place a layer of shredded cabbage, a few shrimp, avocado slices, and garnish with cilantro.
- Serve: Squeeze lime juice over the top and enjoy!
