Ingredients
- 1 can of salmon, drained
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Combine the drained salmon, bread crumbs, mayonnaise, chopped onion, egg, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Shape the mixture into small patties, about 1 inch thick.
- Heat a generous amount of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the patties and fry each side for about 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Optional: Serve in a bun, on a salad, or with dipping sauces. For gluten-free, use crushed rice crackers instead of bread crumbs, and for a healthier option, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.
