Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove (minced, or substitute with ¼ teaspoon garlic powder)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 2-3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Trim the woody ends off the asparagus.
  3. In a bowl, drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Sprinkle with minced garlic, salt, and pepper, and toss again.
  5. Spread the asparagus evenly on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Roast in the oven for 6-8 minutes until tender yet crisp.
