Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh asparagus
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic clove (minced, or substitute with ¼ teaspoon garlic powder)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 2-3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Trim the woody ends off the asparagus.
- In a bowl, drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle with minced garlic, salt, and pepper, and toss again.
- Spread the asparagus evenly on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast in the oven for 6-8 minutes until tender yet crisp.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Serve warm and enjoy!
