Ingredients
- 40 whole spears asparagus
- ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Lightly coat the asparagus with cooking spray or a drizzle of oil.
- Sprinkle with kosher salt and black pepper.
- Bake for about 12 minutes, or until tender with a slight char.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat.
- Cook until golden brown and aromatic, around 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in soy sauce and balsamic vinegar until bubbling.
- Drizzle the browned butter sauce over the roasted asparagus and toss gently.
