Description

Ingredients

  • 40 whole spears asparagus
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Lightly coat the asparagus with cooking spray or a drizzle of oil.
  4. Sprinkle with kosher salt and black pepper.
  5. Bake for about 12 minutes, or until tender with a slight char.
  6. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat.
  7. Cook until golden brown and aromatic, around 3 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in soy sauce and balsamic vinegar until bubbling.
