Description

A quick and flavorful jerk shrimp dish perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons jerk seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish


Instructions

  1. Mix the shrimp with jerk seasoning, olive oil, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  2. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated with the marinade.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the shrimp in a single, even layer.
  4. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped cilantro. Serve immediately.

Notes

Feel free to substitute the jerk seasoning with your favorite spice blend or use chicken instead of shrimp.
