Description
A sweet-salty, buttery noodle hack that transforms instant ramen into a flavorful griddle meal, ready in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 package instant ramen noodles
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Cook ramen noodles according to the package instructions but discard the seasoning packet, then drain.
- Preheat griddle to medium-high (about 400°F) and melt butter.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in brown sugar and soy sauce to form a glaze.
- Toss noodles in the glaze, then push them to one side of the griddle.
- Turn heat up to high (about 450°F) and scramble the beaten egg on the open side, then mix the egg into the noodles.
- Remove from heat and top with everything bagel seasoning.
Notes
Serves best hot right off the griddle. Leftovers can be refrigerated for 3–4 days; reheat on a pan to maintain texture.
