Description

A sweet-salty, buttery noodle hack that transforms instant ramen into a flavorful griddle meal, ready in just 20 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 package instant ramen noodles
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp everything bagel seasoning


Instructions

  1. Cook ramen noodles according to the package instructions but discard the seasoning packet, then drain.
  2. Preheat griddle to medium-high (about 400°F) and melt butter.
  3. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in brown sugar and soy sauce to form a glaze.
  5. Toss noodles in the glaze, then push them to one side of the griddle.
  6. Turn heat up to high (about 450°F) and scramble the beaten egg on the open side, then mix the egg into the noodles.
  7. Remove from heat and top with everything bagel seasoning.

Notes

Serves best hot right off the griddle. Leftovers can be refrigerated for 3–4 days; reheat on a pan to maintain texture.
