Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter


Instructions

  1. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and pumpkin pie spice in a large bowl.
  2. Mix the buttermilk, pumpkin puree, egg, and melted butter in another bowl until well combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  4. Preheat a griddle or a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Use a 1/4 cup measuring cup to pour batter onto the griddle for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
