Description

A refreshing salad made with crushed pineapple, cream cheese, and walnuts, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start by draining the crushed pineapple; set it aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it’s smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the drained crushed pineapple (and optional sugar and vanilla extract if you desire) into the cream cheese and mix thoroughly.
  4. Gently fold in the Cool Whip until well combined.
  5. Stir in the chopped walnuts to add that delightful crunch.
  6. Pour the mixture into your favorite serving dish and refrigerate for at least 120 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing. Experiment with flavors like shredded coconut or mini marshmallows.
