Description
A delightful burger that combines sweet pineapple and savory teriyaki sauce with juicy grilled chicken, all served on a soft bun.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup pineapple, crushed or sliced
- 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
- 4 Dave’s Killer Bread 21 Whole Grains and Seeds Buns
- 1/2 cup lettuce
- 1/4 cup red onion, sliced
- Olive oil for grilling
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground chicken with teriyaki sauce and crushed pineapple. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat and lightly oil the surface.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Briefly toast the buns on the grill until golden.
- On each bun, layer lettuce, a slice of red onion, and the grilled chicken patty.
- Serve immediately with your favorite sides!
Notes
For the best results, don’t overmix the chicken and pineapple. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is safe to eat.
