Description

A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic and olive oil.


Ingredients

  • 400g spaghetti
  • 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 100ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving


Instructions

  1. Boil water and add salt to cook the spaghetti according to package directions.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and add the sliced garlic.
  3. Cook the garlic until lightly golden, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
  4. Add red pepper flakes and stir for an additional minute.
  5. Drain the pasta and reserve some cooking water.
  6. Combine the pasta with the garlic oil, adding reserved water if necessary.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add anchovies or substitute with gluten-free pasta if needed.
