Ingredients
- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
- Boil water and add salt to cook the spaghetti according to package directions.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat and add the sliced garlic.
- Cook the garlic until lightly golden, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
- Add red pepper flakes and stir for an additional minute.
- Drain the pasta and reserve some cooking water.
- Combine the pasta with the garlic oil, adding reserved water if necessary.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can add anchovies or substitute with gluten-free pasta if needed.
