Delicious and customizable quesadillas inspired by the classic Philly cheesesteak, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
- Flour tortillas
- Steak (thinly sliced)
- Cheese (e.g., provolone or cheddar)
- Onions (optional)
- Bell peppers (optional)
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and drizzle in some oil.
- Sauté the onions and bell peppers (if using) until they’re soft and fragrant.
- Add the sliced steak to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Place a tortilla on a flat surface; sprinkle cheese over one half.
- Add the delicious steak mixture on top of the cheese and fold the tortilla in half.
- Cook in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese has melted.
- Remove from the skillet, slice into wedges, and serve warm!
Notes
Serve with ranch dressing or guacamole. Garnish with fresh cilantro or green onions.
