Description

Delicious and customizable quesadillas inspired by the classic Philly cheesesteak, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • Flour tortillas
  • Steak (thinly sliced)
  • Cheese (e.g., provolone or cheddar)
  • Onions (optional)
  • Bell peppers (optional)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil (for cooking)


Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and drizzle in some oil.
  2. Sauté the onions and bell peppers (if using) until they’re soft and fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced steak to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  4. Place a tortilla on a flat surface; sprinkle cheese over one half.
  5. Add the delicious steak mixture on top of the cheese and fold the tortilla in half.
  6. Cook in the skillet for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese has melted.
  7. Remove from the skillet, slice into wedges, and serve warm!

Notes

Serve with ranch dressing or guacamole. Garnish with fresh cilantro or green onions.
