Description

Quick and satisfying pan-seared chicken breast with a golden crust and juicy interior, perfect for any dinner occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken breasts carefully when the oil is hot.
  4. Sear the chicken for approximately 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve immediately for the best taste.

Notes

Allow the chicken to come to room temperature before cooking for even cooking. A cast-iron skillet is recommended for best crust.
