Description

Tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs slathered in barbecue sauce, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Combine garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over both racks of ribs.
  4. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with foil, meat side up.
  5. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil and bake for 150 to 180 minutes until tender.
  6. Remove the ribs from the oven and brush them with barbecue sauce.
  7. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes until caramelized.
  8. Allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat at low temperature to retain moisture.
