Description

Indulge in tender, flavorful baby back ribs that are sweet and smoky, perfect for gatherings and barbecues.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder to create your spice rub.
  3. If the ribs have a membrane on the back, remove it for a more tender bite. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
  4. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and cover with another piece of foil tightly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 150 to 180 minutes until the ribs are tender.
  6. Once done, take the ribs out, discard the top foil, and generously brush barbecue sauce over the ribs.
  7. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  8. Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
