Ingredients
- 2 racks baby back ribs
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder to create your spice rub.
- If the ribs have a membrane on the back, remove it for a more tender bite. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
- Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and cover with another piece of foil tightly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 150 to 180 minutes until the ribs are tender.
- Once done, take the ribs out, discard the top foil, and generously brush barbecue sauce over the ribs.
- Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
- Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
