A delicious and nutritious no-bake granola bar recipe that is perfect for quick snacks or breakfast on the go.
Ingredients
- 2 large overripe bananas
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 cup crunchy cereal
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
- 2 tbsp peanut butter (or nut/seed butter of choice)
- 2 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp dried cranberries (or any dried fruit)
- 2 – 4 tsp cocoa powder
Instructions
- Mash the overripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the oats, crunchy cereal, maple syrup, peanut butter, chocolate chips, dried cranberries, and cocoa powder. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into a lined baking pan.
- Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours until set.
- Cut into bars and enjoy!
Notes
Wrap each bar individually in plastic wrap or store in an airtight container in the fridge. They can last up to one week in the refrigerator or can be frozen for up to three months.
