Description

A comforting classic featuring juicy chicken topped with smoky bacon and gooey Monterey Jack cheese, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 4 slices Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Barbecue sauce
  • 2 Green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Sear chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
  6. Top each breast with barbecue sauce, then sprinkle with shredded Monterey Jack cheese and crispy bacon.
  7. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving hot.

Notes

For a lighter option, use turkey bacon or swap Monterey Jack cheese with cheddar.
