Description

Classic appetizer with a twist, featuring a creamy and savory filling balanced with richness and tang.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Chopped chives or green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place the eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then cover and remove from heat. Let them sit for 12-14 minutes.
  2. Transfer the eggs to an ice bath for cooling.
  3. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  4. Remove the yolks and put them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork.
  5. Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper to the yolks; mix until smooth and creamy.
  6. Spoon or use a piping bag to fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  7. Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika and chopped chives or green onions.
  8. Serve chilled for the best taste.
