Description

A decadent twist on classic deviled eggs featuring creamy yolk, crispy bacon, and zesty Dijon mustard.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs: Place the eggs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes, then transfer to cold water to cool.
  2. Cook the bacon: In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from skillet, cool and crumble.
  3. Prepare the filling: Peel and slice the cooled eggs in half. Remove the yolks and mix with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Assemble the deviled eggs: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into the egg whites. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and garnish with chives or parsley.
  5. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

For extra creaminess, add a splash of pickle juice or a dollop of sour cream to the yolk mixture. Use a piping bag for neat filling.
