Description

A creamy, flavorful pasta dish with succulent shrimp, perfect for date nights or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Once done, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp, seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, then cook until pink and cooked through—about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Remove the shrimp and garlic from the skillet, setting them aside.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan until it’s melted and the sauce starts to thicken.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta and shrimp back into the skillet; mix well and heat through.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley just before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, serve with a crisp green salad or garlic bread. Plate beautifully for a special presentation.
