Description
A quick and flavorful salmon dish made with lemon, garlic, and butter that’s perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and let it melt.
- Once the butter is bubbling, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the salmon, skin-side down, in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes, allowing the skin to crisp up.
- Carefully flip the salmon and pour the lemon juice over each fillet.
- Continue to cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges.
Notes
If out of fresh garlic, garlic powder can be used as a substitute.
