Description
A flavorful sheet pan dinner featuring salmon baked in a rich lemon garlic butter sauce, perfect for busy evenings and elegant enough for guests.
Ingredients
- 1 large skin-on salmon fillet
- 1 fresh lemon (sliced and juiced)
- 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 190°C and line a baking tray with foil.
- Place the salmon on the foil, skin-side down, and tuck lemon slices underneath.
- Mix melted butter, lemon juice, honey, and garlic in a bowl. Pour most of this over the salmon, keeping a little aside for later.
- Season with salt and pepper, then seal the foil to create a packet.
- Bake for about 17 minutes.
- Open the foil carefully, switch to broil mode, and cook for another 5–10 minutes until the top is lightly golden.
- Spoon the remaining sauce over the salmon before serving, and garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
Use fresh lemon juice and ensure the foil packet is sealed well to keep the salmon juicy. Keep an eye on the broiling process.
