Description

A quick and flavorful guacamole dip that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped cilantro
  • Optional: diced jalapeño


Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
  2. Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocados to your desired smoothness.
  3. In a food processor, blend the onion, tomato, and garlic until finely chopped.
  4. Add the chopped veggie mix to the mashed avocados.
  5. Stir in lime juice, a pinch of salt, and pepper. Mix well. If using, add cilantro or jalapeño.
  6. Serve it up with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

To keep leftovers fresh, refrigerate in an airtight container with plastic wrap on the surface.
