A quick and flavorful guacamole dip that’s perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped cilantro
- Optional: diced jalapeño
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
- Use a fork or potato masher to mash the avocados to your desired smoothness.
- In a food processor, blend the onion, tomato, and garlic until finely chopped.
- Add the chopped veggie mix to the mashed avocados.
- Stir in lime juice, a pinch of salt, and pepper. Mix well. If using, add cilantro or jalapeño.
- Serve it up with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables for dipping.
Notes
To keep leftovers fresh, refrigerate in an airtight container with plastic wrap on the surface.
