Description
A KETO-approved roasted poultry dish that’s flavor-packed and low on carbs, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
- 1 whole poultry (chicken or turkey, skin-on recommended)
- 1/4 cup olive oil (or melted butter)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Paprika for smoky flavor
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, rosemary, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
- Place the poultry in a large resealable bag or dish; pour the marinade over it and coat evenly.
- Marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
- Transfer the marinated poultry to a roasting pan, skin-side up, pouring remaining marinade over it.
- Roast in the oven for about 1 to 1.5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Allow it to rest for 10 minutes before carving.
Notes
For crispy skin, broil the poultry for an additional 3-5 minutes at the end of roasting. Use a meat thermometer for precise cooking.
